Our holiday flat offers you all the modern conveniences in a historic, river side setting.

You will be met when you arrive by our caretaker, who will be nearby if you need them at anytime.

The flat offers two double bedrooms & sofa bed in the sitting room.

The sitting room has a flat screen  television, DVD player & sound system.  We've even left some DVDs & CDs.

The kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you'll need (tea & coffee provided).

You also get sole use of the fantastic lockable cupboard under the main staircase at the front of the building right next to the car park. Perfect for storing fishing rods/surfboards/bikes/canoes etc.

Braal Castle is located right next to the river Thurso, so if you enjoy canoeing or fishing there is no better place to stay.  Thurso is under 10 minutes away for surfers, and cyclists can head in any direction you like.

On the ground floor we have a laundry room with a tumble dryer for drying wet clothes after your days out, with internet access, vending machine & payphone.

Halkirk has a great restaurant & a shop selling fresh locally sourced food.
