In the 70's the castle was converted into 15 flats, which were very
popular for many years, however the castle was allowed to fall into a
state of disrepair. We purchased the castle and surrounding grounds in
late 2008 and started major renovations. All the flats have been fully
refurbished to a high standard.
We have a range of flats available, from one to four bedrooms, with a
choice of open plan or separate kitchens & living rooms. The kitchens
are of a high quality with a modern finish, fitted appliances, and
plenty of storage space. There is a choice of pressurised showers or
baths depending on the flat. The living rooms have phone and media

Internet access, public phone & a vending machine are available for all
the tenants to use.
The grounds & communal areas are maintained by our caretaker, who lives

located 6 miles south of
Thurso, there is a restaurant, hotel, garage, primary school,
local shops and pubs. Halkirk is a attractive village with all you will
need, however nearby Wick
and Thurso also
have a wide variety of shops and retail parks, airport, train stations &
other services.
